2.1 Foundation
SRT will be installed on reinforced concrete foundations laid on an excavation of 40 m diameter and 6.5 m depth (fig. 2.1). The main part is a rays structure which has been filled on site, in the centre there is an octagonal housing for cable wraps and the azimuth bearing (fig. 2.2).
The foundation has been completed by the end of April 2006.
